Children & Youth Worship at St Mark's
Programs for Children & Youth
Usually, during Sunday service, the children are gathered for a special sermon from the presider. Then they are taken to either Children’s Chapel or Sunday school where creativity and wonder are encouraged! Children are escorted back into the main worship service in time for Communion. (THIS IS SUBJECT TO COVID 19 - See Enews for current updates)

Children from 0-3 years of age are in the hands of our wonderful, competent, screened and trained staff. Read more here. Children's Chapel
The curriculum used is “Living the Good News” which is an online lectionary-based Christian education curriculum. |
Youth Forum: The Youth Forum for Freshmen-Seniors in High School will be every 2nd & 4th Sunday in the Parish Hall from 5:30pm-6:30pm. This is an opportunity for our teen parishioners to hang out, get to know each other, and learn more about their faith with their peers.
Acolytes: Acolytes are trained to serve at the altar during worship. They generally act as the priest's assistant, as well as light the candles, walk in the procession, and help with offerings and sacraments. Anyone in 3rd grade or higher is eligible to serve as an acolyte.
|
Mission: To build a loving fellowship of Disciples of Christ through service, education and recreation.
